Blacksmithing I Workshop at Old World Wisconsin

 

Try your hand at the rudiments of blacksmithing using traditional 19th-century tools and a coal-fired forge. You’ll be able to fashion all sorts of useful items during the workshop, and will receive a copy of Old World Wisconsin’s Blacksmithing Training Manual. Once you’ve completed this workshop you’ll be eligible to participate in the follow-up Intermediate Blacksmithing workshop.

Prerequisite: None
Instructor: Old World Wisconsin Blacksmith staff
Required Clothing: Appropriate work wear (long sleeves, long pants and hard shoes or boots)
Lunch: Participants should bring a sack lunch
