    Milwaukee Public Museum Summer Camp: Draw, Explore, and Discover Amazing Butterflies!

    Do dinosaurs tell stories? They do! And in this program we'll explore the stories of the dinosaurs through real fossils, museum exhibits, paleontologists' tools and hands-on activities that take you back 65 million years to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Learn about the unique characteristics of dinosaurs, their relationship to modern birds and reptiles, and take the Milwaukee Public Museum's legendary "Dinosaur Challenge." We'll...

    Do dinosaurs tell stories? They do! And in this program we'll explore the stories of the dinosaurs through real fossils, museum exhibits, paleontologists' tools and hands-on activities that take you back 65 million years to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Learn about the unique characteristics of dinosaurs, their relationship to modern birds and reptiles, and take the Milwaukee Public Museum's legendary "Dinosaur Challenge." We'll get a close look at real dinosaur bones and the fossils of ancient plants and animals, and discover the facts behind what caused the extinction of these fascinating creatures. Camp is from 9:30am-3:30pm on June 27th for kids ages 6-8. If you need to drop your child off early or pick them up late, before care and after care is available.     Tickets:

    $90 members, $115 non-members. Registration deadline is June 20th

    Parking:

    There are metered spaces available on most downtown streets. Meters are free (limit 2 hours) on weekends.

    There are several municipal lots nearby. MacArthur Square parking structure is adjacent to the Museum Center and is accessible via James Lovell Street. The parking structure includes an entrance to the Museum on the ground level, eliminating the need to walk outside. Members receive discounted rates.
