At the Open Canvas 2011 benefit each brushstroke supports Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design scholarships and The William F. Eisner Museum of Advertising and Design (online). This most eagerly awaited annual event also provides a singular opportunity for attendees to watch over 80 artists create unique paintings, bid on those works via silent auction and take home their favorites that evening. The event features fine food, hors d'ouevres and libations courtesy of 30 sponsoring restaurants and caterers. Open Canvas is presented by Good Knight Promotions and chaired by Jeff Kursel.
