Contemporary jazz saxophonist Steve Cole heats up the Main Stage at 9pm at the Historic Third Ward Jazz Festival: Summer Sizzle, which runs 11am to 11pm, Saturday, August 4, in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward. Featuring four stages of continuous jazz -- and a little blues -- the event will take place in the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of N. Broadway. Admission is free.

Nearly 20 Milwaukee area, Madison, and Chicago groups complete the musical lineup with styles that range from traditional and original to Latin, Swing and Dixieland -- and blues. Spicing up the Sizzle will be the Taste of the Ward, featuring small plate dining from Third Ward restaurants. Learn swing dancing with Brew City Hop, and find out about fitness craze Zumba with B-fit Milwaukee. Shoppers will find apparel, jewelry, art, imports, one-of-a-kind gifts and specialty items in the eclectic marketplace.
