    Our Gardens Inside and Out

    The Charles Allis Art Museum, 1801 N. Prospect Ave, is pleased to announce the opening Our Gardens Inside and Out. This group show, guest curated by Jane Brite, features over 100 works by 73 different artists who interpret flowers and gardens from different perspectives using varied art forms including paintings, prints and sculpture. The opening reception for the show is Friday, June 29, 2012 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

    About the Curator
    Guest Curator Jane Brite was founding Director of Walker’s Point Center for the Arts and recent recipient of the Wisconsin Lifetime Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters. Jane is a partner in Brite-White Consultants who conduct art programming for women residing at five Milwaukee homeless serving shelters and facilitates art programming for veterans at the Charles Allis Art Museum.
