Our expert staff will lead you through our special "Rousing with the Roosters" breakfast program as we work together to prepare a sunrise meal the same way many early immigrant farmers did. As the stove is lit, guests chop, stir, season and fry to prepare a hearty German-American breakfast. In between, we'll work up an appetite as we feed the farm animals and tend to the gardens. We may even find some eggs or berries to add to our meal. After the preparations and cooking, we'll sit down to a delicious and abundant breakfast on the Koepsell farmhouse porch. Then everyone pitches in to clear the table and wash dishes 19th-century style to end a satisfying encounter with morning in 1880s Wisconsin. Admission to the museum is included with the ticket, so stay for the day to see the rest of the sights around Old World Wisconsin.
