In honor of the significant acquisition of Carl Spitzweg’s Poor Poet to the Man at Work collection, the Grohmann Museum hase assembled a number of Spitzweg paintings for this important display, including The Bookworm from the Milwaukee Public Library’s collection. Experience the work of Germany’s preeminent 19th century painter.
