    Phantom Cicada Theater presents the wacky and irreverent comedy THE BIBLE: THE COMPLETE WORD OF GOD (Abridged) by Adam Long, Reed Martin & Austin Tichenor.

    THE BIBLE: THE COMPLETE WORD OF GOD (Abridged) takes audiences on a wild and hilarious ride through the Good Book. At break-neck speed, three actors parody the “greatest story ever accepted as fact,” wrestling with some of the great theological questions like, “Did Adam and Eve have navels?” “Did Moses really look like Charlton Heston?” and “Why isn’t the word ‘phonetic’ spelled the way it sounds?” This is a show that puts the fun in fundamentalism, proving that God has a sense of humor. Fire and Brimstone anyone?

    The production opens August 31 and runs through September 9 at Next Act Theatre, 255 S. Water Street. “BIBLE” will be directed by Milwaukee ComedySportz and theater veteran Bo Johnson. Nate Press, Emmitt Morgans, and the show’s producer, Brian Faracy comprise the cast.

    Admission Info:

    Tickets are $15, general admission seating, and may be purchased through the Next Act box office: 414-278-0765 or at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/270533
    Box office Hours are noon – 5:00pm daily, or through curtain time. Master Card, VISA and Discover are accepted.
