If the world is going to end, shouldn't we at least know why? Find out all the facts -- and misconceptions -- about the possibility of our impending doom in a special, limited showing of Doomsday 2012: Ancient Skies, Ancient Mysteries.

By exploring the legends and mysteries ancient cultures saw in the night sky, Doomsday 2012 will take a look at the knowledge these people discovered and the importance of their connection with the stars. Audiences will see common threads to these observations across cultures and see just how close the ancient Greeks came to our current astronomical understanding, and ask whether or not the Maya actually predicted the end of the world on December 21, 2012.

    Doomsday 2012 will show at 7 p.m. on November 29, December 6, 13, 20 & 21.
The last show will be cancelled if the world ends.
