January 5 - Libations in the Lobby Fireside Stories

Warm up by the fireplace in our historic lobby with some seasonal libations while our chef concierge regales you with fascinating stories of days gone by at The Pfister. Of course, Chef Frakes will be on hand to share some kitchen tales and embellish your afternoon with irresistible treats. ?take you through a creative writing workshop designed to unleash your inner author. With a little inspiration, you can start working on that great American novel, or perhaps a blog.

January 12 - A Thoroughly Proper Tea

Quite possibly the finest example of this lost art in the Midwest, our authentic Victorian tea experience is a pure delight. Learn all about the art of tea from of our tea butler, Juan Rodriguez, while enjoying scrumptious teatime fare from Executive Chef Brian Frakes. This is an experience to savor.

Good things come in threes— like glorious red pinots, delicious housemade chocolates and the historic Pfister Hotel. Join Executive Chef, Brian Frakes and our house sommelier in the Lobby Lounge for a tribute to Charles Pfister’s vision, along with special wines and treats prepared by Pastry Chef Jennifer Carlson.

JANUARY 26 - Rose & Roses

Enjoy a sip of rose wine in the sanctuary of our luxurious all suite spa while getting a guided tour from Omar and Elizabeth. Afterward, we’ll gather in our beautiful orchid room for some palate pleasing hors d’oeuvres and a more comprehensive toast to domestic rose wines!
