    Speaker: Julie Ferris, 2011 Narrator

    Our first Pfister Narrator, Julie Ferris, will discuss the ways in which a writer can connect with someone to get their story and how to find the connection between yourself and what you’re writing about. Both aspiring and accomplished writers will find this experience helpful in their work.

    March 16 - Ordinary Leads to Extraordinary
    Speaker: Ed Makowski, 2011-2012 Narrator

    Ed will be focusing on how the details of ordinary life can lead to extraordinary art and writing. He will draw upon examples of his own and other writers work in which pedantic life experience leads to universal experiences for readers. A reminder that regular life experiences, a moment removed and with further reflection, often create profound art.

    March 23 - Short Stories and Poetry
    Speaker: Dasha Kelly, 2012 Narrator

    Get your creative juices going during this afternoon experience dedicated to short stories and poetry. Expect a fast-paced and fresh approach from Dasha, with a focus on fun. Seasoned writers or doubtful scribblers, everyone will leave with a complete story or poem!
