    John Roy competed and was crowned the first champion of CBS' Star Search, in 2003. He has performed stand up on numerous television shows, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Last Comic Standing, where he was a semi-finalist. He made his debut on Conan, in 2012.
    He has appeared numerous times as a panelist on cable networks like VH-1, Fox News, and Fuel TV.
