Urban Ecology Center - Menomonee Valley

Located along the Hank Aaron State Trail, just a short walk from Miller Park, the Menomonee Valley branch of the Urban Ecology Center is a model of “green” building construction. A vacant tavern was renovated and outfitted with geothermal heating/cooling, radiant floor heating, solar hot water panels, a green roof, and solar lighting. Repurposed materials can be found throughout this beautiful “new” building. Free and open to the public Tuesday through Friday 12pm – 7pm and Saturday 9am – 5pm.
