Brady St Pet Parade and Art Walk

 

The 20th Brady St Pet Parade will take place on Brady St, on Sunday, October 2nd from 11am to 4pm. This is a family- and pet-friendly event.

11am: Sign-up for the Pet Contests (categories include Best Pet Costume, Best Pet/Owner Lookalike, Best Trick, and Best Tail Wag), check out the vendors on Brady Street and N. Arlington Place, listen to music from our event DJs, The Vinyl Department and DJ Soul, and enjoy a beverage or brunch at one of our many establishments,

12pm: The Pet Contests Begin! Matt Wild of Milwaukee Record will emcee the Pet Contests. Anna Landrois of Gothic Milwaukee and Andrea Albers from TMJ4 will be our celebrity judges.

1pm: The Pet Parade Commences! Attendees will parade on Brady St west to Cass St and south to St. Rita’s church for the annual Pet Blessing by Father Tim of Three Holy Women. The Parade will be led by the Milwaukee Police Dept’s horse-mounted patrol, Samba da Vita drumline and our two Pet Parade Grand Marshals.

2pm to 4pm: Attendees return to Brady St event area to check out the vendors, listen to music, and enjoy the festivities.

Due to postponement from weather, the Brady St Art Walk will also take place during the Pet Parade! Local artists will be placed on Brady and work on art while attendees watch. Some artists will also have art for sale.
