Brews and Botany, at Wehr Nature Center, August 19

 

Celebrate the botany behind your favorite drinks! Plants provide the ingredients for the brews that make our mornings bearable and our evenings enjoyable. At Wehr Nature Center’s Brews & Botany, local small businesses will expand our pallets with their plant-inspired beverages-from coffee and tea to kombucha and craft beer. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic samples will be available.

While surrounded by the beauty of the nature center, relax to the live acoustic music of Long Mama. Her singular sound weaves together influences of classic country, folk, Americana, R&B, and punk music.

For those attending who have a bit of a competitive spirit, the event offers a game of botanical trivia about your favorite drinks.

Throughout the night, purchase small delicious bites to savor. Friends of Wehr will use proceeds to support the programs of Wehr Nature Center.

RESERVATIONS/ADMISSION
Walk-ins are welcome, but registration by Aug. 5 will give you a $5 discount per admission!
Fee: $30 per person; $25 for members of the Friends of Wehr

The event will be held rain or shine; in the case of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors.
