Community Chatter: Archaeology and Analysis with Professor Ned Farley

 

In February 2020, the Department of Anthropology of Wisconsin Lutheran College received a transfer of archaeological materials from the Milwaukee County Historical Society. The deaccessioned biological remains included mummified materials sourced from dynastic Egypt. Various forensic and biochemical analyses were utilized to provide greater archaeological provenience and develop a path for repatriation.
