In 1932, America’s amusement park proprietors met for an informal convention in New York. The attendees declared bumper cars, carousels, roller coasters and our beloved frozen custard the four things that “best contribute to the world’s happiness.” Come get happy on our tour dedicated solely to highlighting Milwaukee as the proclaimed, “Custard Capital of the World.” On this narrated tour, you will learn custard trivia, enjoy a burger and friend, and visit the historic stands that have been institutions throughout Milwaukee’s to delve into the reason you are on the tour – TO EAT THE BEST CUSTARD IN MILWAUKEE!

On the tour you will visit the shops & stands that have been institutions throughout Milwaukee’s historic communities. Guests will be treated to:

Butter burger and fries at an iconic MKE diner (you will have opportunity to put ketchup, mustard, relish on, if so desired)
3 generously sized custard portions
round-trip transportation
guided tour fun

IMPORTANT NOTATIONS:

Although minimal walking is required, there is still walking involved.

This tour is NOT handicap accessible and attendees will need to go up/down minimal stairs to get on/off the bus multiple times.

Tastings - All tastings are included in the price. Portions are often served family-style. Samples are substantial - for the vast majority of attendees, you will not need to plan for a meal after the tour!

Food Allergies

This tour is seafood/shellfish free.

We do have a vegetarian option (grilled cheese sandwich) on this tour.

We are not able to make menu adjustments for food allergies, dietary restrictions or preferences on this public tour beyond the vegetarian option. This includes gluten, vegan, sugar-free and kosher requests.

We are able to make allergy / preference accommodations on private walking tours for 8+ guests, or private bus tours for 12+ guests.
