View moreHuman-kindness explores the artistic interest in how humans express or often do not express themselves as loving, caring, and understanding sentient beings. This exhibition features the work of Sandy Bueller, Richard Cahan, Paul Calhoun, Gia Chkhatarashvili, and John Ruebartsch. Their work reveals how people live their daily lives and are treated in a world that often tips the scales of power and struggle. The hope of this exhibition is to create an internal discussion regarding this verse in the Bible according to Matthew; “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” Matthew 22:36-40.
