Plein Air (Outdoor) Painting for Seasoned Painters

 

This class is designed for those who know their medium, such as oils, acrylics, pastels, or charcoal, but are new to painting outdoors. Focus on the natural landscape of the Wustum grounds as subject for location painting. Tricks and tips to make the experience enjoyable will be covered. Bring supplies that you are most comfortable using – all mediums welcome. Teens aged 14 and older may take adult classes; some require instructor’s consent. Please dress for outdoors. Must wear mask at all times. Limited enrollment.

Online registration closes two business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00 am – 4:30 pm and Saturdays, noon – 4:00pm. Gather together inside before heading out to the grounds. The Wustum Museum is located at 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
