Milwaukee LGBT Community Center
The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center has been serving the Milwaukee community since 1997 by providing a wide range of services and activities for the metro area LGBT community.
The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center delivers educational, health promotion, and community-building services that meet the needs of LGBT youth, adults and their allies in the greater Milwaukee area from its primary facility and other sites. Center programs are developed with a consideration of community need, diversity and inclusivity, community development, availability of resources, and the Center’s mission and vision.
Our programs include the highly acclaimed Project Q providing services and a safe space for LGBT youth, SAGE (Services & Advocacy for Gay Elders), the Anti-Violence Project, Couseling Services, Personal Financial Planning Assistance.
We also have a wide range of social activities including TGIF (our monthly social networking Happy Hour), Women Out to Brunch, Gallery Night in our Community Room, and Rainbow Rec which includes activities ranging from Ballroom Dancing, a Writers Workshop, Little Night Out, and much more.
In addition the Center offers the resources of its LGBT Lending Library, use of the Cyber Center, and we are provide space for over 50 Community Groups that use the Center's facility. We are truly at the Center of our Community!
