Milwaukee history museum highlighting Americana in the 1910s-1940s as well as the people, businesses and city of Milwaukee. Each room in the 150 year old historic house, is a diorama of authentic items from the time period to recreate the stores and daily life of the average citizens. Interactive exhibits include a vintage Ice Cream Parlor, a Political Exhibit (that changes every year), the Grafman Grocery Store, a quirky Bayview Pharmacy, the Saxe Theater, a hidden Speakeasy and more. Functioning crank telephones, an outdoor weight scale, victrola and a player piano can all be tried with supervision. You may explore on your own or take advantage of guided tours. Exhibits change every few months at a minimum and you never know what new “old” items that you might explore that day! Open Year Round Monday-Saturday from 10am-4pm, Sunday noon-4pm. A 501(c)3 Non-Profit Museum that accepts donations.

Commemorative Air Force Wisconsin Wing

The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Wisconsin Wing, based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The wing operates a Fairchild PT-26 primary trainer and a North American Aviation SNJ-5 advanced trainer. Members of the Wisconsin Wing engage with the CAF mission to protect these rare flying monuments to freedom for future generations through preservation, education, exhibition and airshows. We offer 14-mile round trips from our historic East Troy depot and museum to Indianhead Park in Mukwonago. Stops at the popular Elegant Farmer store and deli. Mix of classic trolley and interurban cars. Regular train rides are Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June through October; Saturday & Sunday only in April and May. The East Troy Railroad Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational corporation committed to the preservation of the rail heritage of Wisconsin and America. Operated completely by volunteers, all proceeds and sales benefit the work of the museum to restore historic trolleys and interurban railcars, preserve rail heritage and educate the public. The railroad operates every weekend May through October, as well as charters, dinner trains and special events.
