Festivals of Cedarburg, Inc.
Cedarburg has been hosting its renowned festivals since 1972, when the first Wine & Harvest Festival took place. Since then, Festivals of Cedarburg, Inc. a 501(c)(3) organization, has instituted the very successful Winter Festival, Strawberry Festival, Oktoberfest, Wine & Harvest Festival and A Cedarburg Christmas, which bring thousands of visitors from far and wide to enjoy the city, stroll among hundreds of vendors, and delight in various food, games, and other great activities. The mission of Festivals of Cedarburg is “to promote Cedarburg through community events to enhance the vitality and economic well-being of the city while fostering civic, cultural and education interests.” Festivals of Cedarburg gives back through funding of grants to area organizations such as Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts, the Riverwalk Project, Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce, Cedarburg Cultural Center programs, City of Cedarburg, North Shore Academy of the Arts, Summer Sounds and many more, as well as promoting the economic health of the area by drawing new visitors to the city.
