American Lung Association in Wisconsin

The mission of the American Lung Association in Wisconsin is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. The association provides educational programs, community service, advocacy and research into cures for lung disease. Specific efforts focus on preventing youth from smoking, helping smokers quit, improving indoor and outdoor air quality and educating patients, families and caregivers on how to better manage lung disease and improve quality of life. Founded in 1908 to combat tuberculosis, the America Lung Association in Wisconsin is the oldest voluntary health organization in the state.
