Cedarburg Art Museum

Cedarburg Art Museum

The Cedarburg Art Museum was formed in 2013 when its initial 49 paintings were donated to the people of Cedarburg by a trust fund left for the community by Ozaukee Bank. The Museum is located in a historic Victorian home on the main street in Cedarburg. Our mission is to establish and then to maintain a permanent forum that will collect, exhibit and preserve the artwork of Cedarburg and its environs for the ages.

Along with exhibiting, collecting and preserving the art of Cedarburg, we have many additional goals. The location of the museum was chosen for the purpose of helping to keep our downtown vibrant and preserving the landmark that houses the museum. In our first year and a half we have partnered with Concordia University, Cedarburg High School, Ozaukee County Historical Society, Cedarburg Artists Guild, Cedarburg Cultural Center, Wisconsin Museum of Quilt and Fiber, and numerous artists, teachers, and residents in the area.
