CIVIC MUSIC MKE (Civic Music Association of Milwaukee)

CIVIC MUSIC MKE supports music education and provides performance opportunities for young musicians in the five county greater Milwaukee area. CIVIC MUSIC offers a variety of scholarship and performance opportunities to 4th through 12th grade students for private lessons, auditions, workshops, master classes, competitions and performances before a live audience. These programs allow participating instrumentalists and vocalists to refine their skills as musicians AND develop skills that will arm them to be good citizens. CIVIC MUSIC also celebrates the accomplishments of inspiring music teachers with its Educator Awards, and patrons and professionals in the arts with its Citizen Awards.
