Grohmann Museum at MSOE

The Grohmann Museum is home to the Man at Work collection, which comprises more than 1,400 paintings and sculptures dating from 1580 to the present. They reflect a variety of artistic styles and subjects that document the evolution of organized work: from farming and mining to trades such as glassblowing and seaweed gathering. The Grohmann Museum welcomes visitors to three floors of galleries where a core collection is displayed as well as special feature exhibitions. The museum also features a spectacular rooftop sculpture garden. The museum is part of Milwaukee School of Engineering, an independent university with about 2,600 students. MSOE offers bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees in engineering, business, mathematics and nursing.

The UWM Peck School of the Arts is home to seven public performance spaces including Helen Bader Concert Hall, Recital Hall, Mainstage Theatre, Studio Theatre, Studio 508, ACL 120, and Studio 254 dance space on the campus of The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. The School produces an array of programs including classical, experimental music, dance, drama, opera and film as well as providing performance venues for a number of campus and community organizations. The Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts, which houses the concert hall, also provides space for rehearsals, fund raising events, graduations, lectures and meetings. The School also programs three public gallery spaces.
